Lee Castle,also known as The Lee, in Scotland is over 700 years old and sits on 260 acres of land. The original lands of Lee were granted to William Locard around 1272. William's son Symon Locard built his castle by the 13th century. Charles James Lockhart (revised version of Locard) renovated and extended the original Castle of Lee in the early part of the 19th century.
The castle consists of 14 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 4 reception rooms, a great hall, ballroom, conference room, private chapel and heated swimming pool. The grounds include a Japanese garden, Japanese bridges, pergolas, a pond and Rockery garden.
