Cameron is derived from a Scottish Gaelic surname originating as a nickname for “crooked nose” more directly from “cam shron.” Cameron is also a Scottish version of the place Cambernon meaning “crooked hill.” Cambernon is a village in the Manche département of north-western France. [1][1]
