Aurora is the Roman goddess of the dawn, pictured as a beautiful woman in a chariot, riding across the sky to bring daylight to the world. She is the mother of the four winds and was the consort of many gods. In Greek, she was known as Eos. ^[1] She is the sister of the sun and the moon. ^[1]
